Sandwich Emergency Management Agency is looking for civic-minded men and women to act as volunteers in our program. At this time, our primary focus is severe weather spotting. We provide training. You provide your time and your enthusiasm.

If you are the age of eighteen or over, have a valid driver's license, are willing to submit to a background check, live within a reasonable distance of the city, and have a desire to help your community, contact us at sandwichema@hotmail.com. Attention Local Amateur Radio Operators:
Sandwich EMA is looking for amateurs to serve in RACES. Holders of all classes of licenses are welcome. ARRL ARECC Level 1 and OES a plus but not necessary. Those accepted will be required to complete FEMA Independent Study Courses IS100.a, IS200.a, IS700.a, IS800.b and IS802 within six months of appointment. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to serve their community via Amateur Radio in case of declared emergency. Contact us via email or phone for details.
